A lot of Kindergarten teachers like to get fancy with the end of the year. Especially when it comes to open house and culminating projects and what not. I'm going to tell you my easy peasy way of doing things.
NOW. It's important you know that I don't have any help, no aide, no parent volunteers so the main reason I do this is because it's cheap, quick, and easy. We also don't do an open house. Weird I know.
So here's what I do- I keep all of my students project for the entire year and store them in a portable hanging file folder holder. I buy a huge box of 12x15 Kraft envelopes that will last me a couple of years (comes in a box of 100) and I type up and print up a sweet end of the year poem. I glue this to the front then run the entire folder through our school's big laminator (don't panic! it works!). Then I just use scissors or my exacto and make a slit at the top and WALL-AH!
At the end of the year I stuff these with our entire year's worth of projects, our special classroom photos, candy, and another special note from me. It works out so well!

Even if I were to have an open house at the end of the year, I think I'd do this and lay them neatly on their desks. It just contains everything so well! Hope this helps anyone looking for ideas on how to organize the crazy that is the end of the year!
XO,
Chels
