I don't know why I'm surprised every year when February FLIES by. But here we are! Getting ready for MARCH. What! Today I'm going to share my favorite picture books that I've found over the years and some new ones that I'm loving! I love mixing up St. Patrick's Day with Spring, and STEM... (and sometimes Easter). I could pull out a bajillion but here is my top 8!

I love this book! I've been using it since my first year of teaching, when it was still included in our curriculum. This book is great to work on inferencing, which is pretty hard for the little ones!

Time to pull out those STEM projects! This story is so silly, but perfect to get students thinking about building and problems solving their own leprechaun traps.

DON'T TOUCH THAT FLOWER!

We have and love "Don't Touch That Nut!". It's so cute and funny, so we're excited for this new addition.

We love this entire series! It's the perfect book to continue talking about seasons and weather. Kids will have to use their comprehension and inferencing skills to detect the changes throughout the book.

Such a cute Spring time book that talks about importance of friendship during tough times.

Everyone's favorite grump bear!

THE NIGHT BEFORE ST. PATRICK'S DAY

This series is another favorite! Always a cute and special way to integrate cultural holidays.

I hope these were helpful for you to remember to pull out for the month!
